"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house" (Mal. 3:10). I have been a student of Christian Science for approximately eleven years and feel that it is time to give a tithe in the form of a written testimony.

I turned to the Comforter, Christian Science, when all material hope had failed and I was mentally groping in darkness. Never shall I forget the joy which was mine when I went to Christian Science practitioner for the first time. She talked to me about God's love, and I was completely satisfied. I was not instantly healed, but I had something upon which to lean.

I am grateful that right from the start I realized that in order to honestly follow the teachings of this Science, I must lay aside all other things and devote my time and energy to this study alone. Release from my former church was obtained. I joined The Mother Church, subscribed to all the periodicals, and sincerely tried to know the truth concerning every situation. Great has been the reward, for a few of the many ills that have been healed in our family are the drink habit, paralysis of the face, spinal meningitis, infantile paralysis, effects of a severe fall experienced by a very small child, convulsions and the dread of them, worry and anxiety, financial lack, and inharmony in the home.
