Words can never express my...

Words can never express my gratitude for the priceless privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School for about seventeen years. During that time I was taught by many consecrated teachers, who instilled in me a love for the Bible, for Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and for that most practical of all religions—Christian Science.

Like many young people, however, I was tempted to take my religion for granted. And it was not until I left home and went away to college that I became a sincere student of this Science. I became active in the church services of a small group of Christian Scientists on the campus. This opportunity to serve as a Reader and also as a Sunday School teacher helped my growth in Spirit.

When properly applied, Christian Science has never failed to meet my every need. While in school and college I turned to this truth for help in my studies, in overcoming physical illness, and in working out problems of human relationships. Since being in the business world I have especially felt God's guidance and have learned more and more to forsake human will and say, "Not my will, but thine, be done" (Luke 22:42). Then I have gained the sweet assurance that God was directing me.
