My heart is filled with gratitude...

My heart is filled with gratitude to God for His great goodness and for the abundance of blessings that have come to us through the study and application of Christian Science. I am grateful that I have never known anything but Science and that my mother was a devout student many years before I made my appearance. I am grateful that she kept my feet in the straight and narrow way and gave me a firm foundation upon which to build my life.

I attended the Christian Science Sunday School until I was twenty and then joined a branch church and The Mother Church immediately upon leaving Sunday School. This anchored me in the Christian Science movement and has safeguarded me from many worldly temptations. I am sincerely grateful for all the beautiful healings I had during those early years.

Although I had Christian Science training all my life, I never really made it entirely my own until after I was married and moved a long way from my home and family. Then I was forced to do my own work and apply the truths I had learned The birth of our son was a beautiful experience, harmonious and natural in every way, and for the growth I made in Christian Science during that time I am most grateful. We have had many proofs of God's love and care for this son also. Many of the so-called children's diseases were overcome instantaneously, and many others, taking more time, were met and proved to be false dreams of mortal mind.
