Church Dedications

Enid Daily Eagle

Enid, Oklahoma (First Church).

Dedication services for the new First Church of Christ, Scientist, 1302 West Broadway, were held on Sunday, September 25, 1949, in the morning and in the afternoon.

Christian Science has been active in Enid since 1898, when its first meeting was held in june. The following year, 1899, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Enid, was organized, and on December 4 it was chartered by the territory of Oklahoma with seven members on the church rolls.
