TIMMY PROVES THAT TRUTH HEALS
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Timmy went to a Christian Science Sunday School. Every Sunday he was assigned a section of the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly to read at home during the week.
For several days Timmy's foot had been hurting, and he could hardly use it. Since not all his family is interested in Christian Science, Timmy was taken to have X rays made of his foot. The doctor told him that he should not stand on it, and that he had to use crutches. Timmy did not like that at all.
His mother knew that the Bible says (Matt. 5:25), "Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him." This means that we should promptly know the truth that error is unreal. We know that since God created man perfect, the error, be it called pain, disease, or something else, is no part of man.
