CORRECT MISSTATEMENTS IN THE PRESS

There has been a mention of Christian Science in parish magazines, in the form of an answer to an inquirer. These magazines incorporate a publication called the Sign, which is edited in London, so the same reference to Christian Science has appeared in many parts of the country. In Berkshire it has appeared in three parishes. The vicar of each parish was written to, and in two cases an authorized biography of Mary Baker Eddy was sent. One wrote, "Mrs. Eddy is indeed a remarkable person, but her biographer did not do justice to the writer of 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.'"
