Instantaneous healing of hemorrhage

For over twenty-five years the study of Christian Science has given me courage, strength, and healing. I am grateful for the consecrated help of practitioners who have faithfully stood by when the way seemed hard or a problem seemed difficult.

Within the past few years great comfort and a period of spiritual enlightenment have come, for "man's extremity is God's opportunity." This extremity forced me to prove that God is "a very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1). It has seemed at times that unfoldment has been slow, but looking back over the years since coming into Christian Science, I am indeed grateful for the help that I could have gained in no other way than through the ministrations of this mighty teaching.

I did not come into Science for physical healing, but the earnest application of this truth in a family of my husband's relatives impressed me with my own great lack of patience and wisdom in working out the problems facing my immediate family, and so I accepted wholeheartedly this method of turning to God in my daily living. I am grateful for having formed the habit of daily study of the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly early in my journey from sense to Soul. I know this has carried me on, sustaining me in many difficult experiences.
