Monitor brings Truth to French woman and joy is regained

My first knowledge of Christian Science came through The Christian Science Monitor. I saw someone on a train reading it, and being interested in English, I asked if I might see it. In it I found the religious article in French, which seemed to me very interesting.

At that time it had been five years since I had lost my mother, with whom I had lived, and I was suffering greatly from this separation. Especially, since I was already of an advanced age, I felt extremely lonely.
