Seeing others released results in healing in hour of great need

My tithe of gratitude to God is long past due, for I have known of Christian Science for many years. This Science was presented to me in an hour of great need. The need was met by the healing of two members of my family of diseases three physicians had pronounced incurable. All my life I had been a student of the Bible and loved God. I knew that all good belongs to Him and comes from Him, so I gave Him the glory for these healings.

I did not know that this Science was something we had to study, understand, use, and demonstrate, so a few years later I again cried out to God for help. Once more Christian Science was presented to me, and I turned to it with all my heart. This time I went to church, bought all the books and literature, and prayed for understanding and wisdom. I studied faithfully, with a desire to know my true self as God's child, as God knew me; and I was obedient to the laws of Christian Science. I received my healings, which were many.

As I continued my study of Christian Science and applied its teachings to every problem which arose, I could see unwanted traits of character and false beliefs disappearing, and more of love, kindness, and thoughtfulness for others being manifested. When fear, constipation, acute attacks of quinsy sore throat, acute appendicitis, ivy poisoning, and injuries sustained in an automobile accident presented themselves at different times, I was healed of them all, in some cases instantaneously.
