SACRAMENT

In sacred silence we commune and knowNo consciousness of self apart from Thee.Thus lilted up we would give thanks and goTo draw the hearts of those—and set them free—Who are made ready for the bread we break.

Not as forgetful hearers, but as trueObservers of the Eucharistic feastShall we walk closely with the chosen fewAnd show them, from the greatest to the least,That there is blessing in the cup we take.
