"THE POOR IN SPIRIT"

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Billy had been going to the Christian Science Sunday School long enough to have learned all the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes by heart. He loved to say them over to his mother to prove that he knew them.

Billy was in the second grade, and getting ready for school again after the week-end holiday made Monday a busy morning for him. But just the same, this morning, as usual, Mother asked Billy what his Sunday School lesson was for the coming week.

"Oh, I already' know it," he said brightly. "It's the first beatitude (Matt. 5:3), 'Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.'"
