I should like to express my gratitude through the Sentinel for a wonderful healing I received about seven years ago of a so-called incurable disease.

Although I had read some Christian Science literature prior to that time, I was not particularly interested in it. I was doctoring all the time. Then, when I was in the depths of despair and there seemed nothing left for me, I decided to try Christian Science. God was surely watching over me. I read constantly day and night, but I grew worse. I did not go back to the doctor, but went to a Christian Science practitioner instead. In about three weeks I knew that I was healed, and I shall never forget that moment of sweetness when I was so close to God. It was over a year before all of the symptoms faded away, but step by step Truth was revealed to me. It was a beautiful healing, and I am grateful to God for it.

I am grateful to the practitioners and friends who have helped me along the way, and especially grateful for the practitioner who worked so unselfishly and stood by me so lovingly and courageously and encouraged me when the way was rough.
