I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many healings I have experienced, as well as for the healings of others in my family.

My first healing was of goiter. I asked a practitioner to help me with this problem, and she gave me references from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which I studied earnestly. She also told me that it was my work to do. On page 512 of Science and Health we read: "Spirit blesses the multiplication of its own pure and perfect ideas, from the infinite elements of the one Mind emanate all form, color, quality, and quantity, and these are mental, both primarily and secondarily. Their spiritual nature is discerned only through the spiritual senses." By carefully studying and applying these truths, I was healed in a short time, and this healing has been permanent.

A member of the family was healed of scarlet fever in four days. For the peace and comfort I experienced when a dear one passed on, I am most grateful.
