OUT OF EGYPT

Still the cloudy, fiery vision
Moves before our lifted gaze,
And the world and its derision,
Its allure, its dusty praise,
Never dim this present wonder,
Only bid our hearts to pray
That Mount Sinai's tenfold thunder
Keep our footsteps in the way.
