The foundation of all moral strength is strong spiritual faith. Because we are sure of God and His presence, His power and His love. His readiness to guide and help, we can withstand all the wiles of the evil one. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength" is an assurance that divine power is available to reinforce our human weakness, if we in earnest prayer will open the channels of our life for the inflow of His strength.
