Jesus said, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them" (Matt. 7:20). The testimonies appearing in The Christian Science Journal and Sentinel are the fruitage of an effective understanding of Christian Science. I have found reassurance and encouragement from these testimonies; therefore I should like to add further proof of this scientific healing power.

I have been healed of peritonitis, kidney disease, stomach disorder, and many other illnesses. I have found completeness and satisfaction, and every need has been met in Christian Science.

One evening while visiting a friend, I started to go into an adjoining room without turning on the light. The open stairway was three feet away, and instead of stepping into the room. I plunged headlong down the flight of stairs. I declared aloud: "There are no accidents. God is everywhere." I landed at the foot of the stairs, and by that time my friend had turned on the light. I immediately got on my feet and assured my friend that I was not hurt, that all was well. I fairly ran up the stairs, I was not hurt in the least, and I expressed gratitude for this wonderful proof of God's care.
