Church Dedications

Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.

Jacksonville, Florida (Third Church).

Third Church of Christ, Scientist, Jacksonville, was dedicated on Sunday, October 12, 1947 Two services were held, one in the morning and the other in the evening. In addition to the regular Lesson-Sermon a brief history of the church was read by the First Reader.

Summarizing the history of the church, it was stated that early in 1925 Sunday services were held at the homes of various members in what was then South Jacksonville.
