"NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME"

To those who are ready to receive it. Christian Science comes with the glad message that the Christ-healing is ever available, for the very presence and knowledge of God. divine Love, are ever present to spiritualize and bless human consciousness. Neither time nor labor is necessary to reveal God's glorious purpose.

An inspiring experience came to a student of Christian Science in proof of this truth. She had gone to the train to see someone off who was returning to her home, and who. having been pronounced by materia medica a hopeless victim of a dread disease, had turned to Christian Science for help. Discouragement was felt because in spite of much consecrated work the afflicted one had had little relief. Then suddenly there arose in the heart of the student a desire to give a healing message direct from God of absolute assurance that His work was done. She leaned forward to whisper to her friend, "This is God's message: 'Now is the accepted time: behold, now is the day of salvation.'"

Two days later a letter came from her friend saying she was healed. When she arrived home she knew that the trouble had gone, and she had taken a long walk in the hills, filled with gratitude to God for the healing truth of Christian Science. She resumed a normal life and later became a useful member of a Christian Science branch church.
