Because I am grateful for the inspiration gained through reading others' testimonies, I wish to share one or two of my experiences.

I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School for about two years, and I can never be too grateful for the foundation thus built.

Once, when I was cleaning a blanket in naphtha, the naphtha caught fire, and because the sleeves of my dress were soaked with the naphtha, my arms were badly burned. This occurred in the basement of my home, and it was necessary to call the fire department to put out the fire. At the same time I called a Christian Science practitioner for help. The fire was put out with very little damage to the house. Although the burns on my arms were slow in healing, there was practically no pain, and inflammation was healed instantaneously. There was much self-pity in my consciousness to be erased. As this was accomplished, and as I realized clearly that my physical condition was only the result of my thinking, the healing took place, and I have had normal use of my arms ever since that time.
