I should like to express my...

I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science. The healings resulting from its study have been numerous. We have proved, beyond doubt, the healing efficacy of this scientific truth in supplying home, friends, and all the needful things of human existence. Protection from wrong friendships for my children and me has been experienced so many times that we confidently expect such protection now.

Outstanding among the physical healings we have experienced was the quick and permanent healing of the serious results of a fall which my youngest daughter had when she was small. While playing, she was accidentally pushed from a porch about ten feet high and fell headfirst into a rock garden, striking her forehead against a stone. Kind friends carried her into the house. My first thought was that she had passed on. The skull was badly crushed, and one eye was injured; her arm dangled at her side, badly twisted. We telephoned to a friend, a Christian Scientist, who gave us loving help, assuring us that the child's life was with God, who would not fail us.

Within a short time the little girl regained consciousness and asked for her playthings. While she was cross and fretful that day and the next, within two days she was playing normally, the skull had filled out, and only a faint cut was visible. By the next day she was using the arm which had been twisted so badly. Within a short time the scar was no longer visible, and so complete has been the healing that for long periods we forget completely about the experience.
