Several years ago, through reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed in three days of a serious trouble, after I had had two operations and was making preparations for a third. I had borrowed this book from a neighbor who had been healed of rheumatism. After a few days' treatment this neighbor was up and climbing telephone poles, which was his job as a lineman. As this beautiful truth unfolded to me I realized that man, as God's image and likeness, cannot be sick and suffer. I found "that God is no respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34), so I knew there was healing for me. By knowing God's allness I was completely healed and arose from my bed and ministered to my family. At the same time our little son was permanently healed of adenoids and enlarged tonsils. He was also healed of a very bad temper. He is now a healthy, strong young man, successful in his work as a teacher.

We have had many healings in our family of five. Our daughter was healed of tonsillitis in its worst form, and my husband was healed of a seriously sprained back by absent treatment and reading Science and Health.

Our son had an acute attack of appendicitis and was completely healed after two chiropractors had given up the case and said an operation would be necessary. After a practitioner fifteen miles away was called, the boy immediately asked for something to eat; he slept well that night and in the morning drove fifteen miles to college.
