I wish to express my gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

Through the study and practice of Christian Science I have had many healings, including those of severe pain, burns, sprained ankle, resentment, fear, and lack of supply, and have experienced protection from accidents. I was instantaneously healed of a burn caused by spilling lye on my hand. By my realizing that there are no accidents in divine Mind, as we are taught in Christian Science, all pain stopped, and there was no evidence of the burn.

With the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was healed of sciatic rheumatism. One night after retiring I found myself in great pain and unable to move. A friend in the house was asked to call a practitioner, who lovingly helped me, and in a few hours I was able to turn over in bed. The third day I walked downstairs with very little discomfort and at the end of a week went back to work. In a few days I was entirely free. Through this experience I realized, to a degree, what it means "to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord" (II Cor. 5:8).
