ASK OF GOD

Gladys Clarke

Ask not mortal man's opinion.
Wherefore does it count?
Strive to emulate the pattern
Showed thee in the mount.

Human thoughts, as fluctuating
As the restless sea,
Change; but laws of God are changeless
Through eternity.
