UNSELFED

We justify ourselves, and then we find
That what we justify is mortal mind,
The ugly thing we do not want at all.
Desire that puts self first must always fall.
We justify because of fear and pride.
And sometimes envy, which we seek to hide.
Rising to Soul, our mortal thoughts are still.
Rejecting self, we can obey God's will.
