It is now over twenty years since...

It is now over twenty years since Christian Science was presented to me in the United States of America. I have been so grateful that I accepted it at that time, for it has proved to be the best thing that could ever have come into my life. Several years ago my testimony appeared in the periodicals, telling about my healing of the need of wearing glasses, after I had been told by physicians that I should never be able to see without them. This has proved to be a permanent healing.

On page 14 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read: "Entirely separate from the belief and dream of material living, is the Life divine, revealing spiritual understanding and the consciousness of man's dominion over the whole earth. This understanding casts out error and heals the sick, and with it you can speak 'as one having authority.'" This helped me greatly, showing me that, like the children of Israel, I had to look away from materiality for true happiness, since true happiness and freedom cannot be found there. I realized in some degree that man lives in fulfillment of divine law. that he is sustained by the law of God, good.

Step by step I have seen that nothing can deprive man of what God has, which is man's by reflection. If we are living in accordance with God's law, we find all our needs supplied. The riches of infinite Mind have blessed me in many ways. As I took my stand to serve the Cause of Christian Science alone, after all outside help had failed, I found an abundance of riches with which to meet my every need.
