The purpose of Christian Science is identical with that of Christ Jesus. It is to show all men that by changing thought from the mistaken belief that cause and effect are material and mortal to an understanding of the fact that they are spiritual and immortal, health, happiness, and permanently harmonious being can be attained.

This change of viewpoint is the most momentous experience that ever comes to an individual in this world. It signifies the start of his ascension from earth to heaven, from the atmosphere of selfishness, sin, sickness, and death to the atmosphere of Love, Life, God.
