I first heard of Christian Science through an aunt who was healed of paralysis of the bowels. Later, when my mother was given up by the doctors, help was asked for from a Christian Science practitioner, and in three days she was out of bed, healed, and she lived more than twenty years in good health.

Since that time I have had and have witnessed many beautiful healings through the study and application of this truth. Broken bones have been set, protection experienced during an earthquake, and false traits of disposition healed; and I can never express enough gratitude for the comfort experienced when loved ones have passed from my sight. Several years ago, while attending the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church in Boston and while talking over the telephone to a consecrated worker, I was instantaneously and permanently healed of sick headaches that had been occurring for several years.

I am sincerely grateful for church membership, for The Christian Science Monitor and the other periodicals, for the blessed privilege of class instruction, and for all the activities of the Christian Science movement.
