ALL GOOD IS OURS
As the perfect expression of God, the spiritual, real man exists at the very source of all true supply. In I Corinthians we read (3:21-23): "Let no man glory in men. For all things are your's; whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's; and ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's."
If all things are ours, why do we sometimes limit our supply by believing that it is bounded and controlled by the ever-changing purchasing power of our income? Christ Jesus said (John 10:30), "I and my Father are one," meaning that the spiritual idea is one with its divine Principle. Not materially, but spiritually we are one with God, one with good, and because God is good, the continuity of good in the life of God's expression, man, is unbroken. We are, therefore, always receiving good, for good is continuously flowing to us from God. Man is the reflection of the one perfect Mind. Cause and effect being one, all that man can reflect or express must of necessity be good. True life, love, health, abundance, protection, supply, joy, companionship, and success are ours now because our true spiritual selfhood is one with God.
One may say: "That is all very well, but what about the high cost of living, high taxes, and so forth, that deplete income until the very standard of living is lowered? What about inflation? I earn just so much and do not have enough to meet even my daily needs. Under these conditions how can I know that my supply is unlimited? How do I know that I shall have enough for tomorrow?" Mary Baker Eddy gives us this comforting assurance in "Miscellaneous Writings" (p.307): "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for to-morrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and it you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment."
