LOOK IN YOUR MIRROR!

Alice was a little girl of eight who had attended the Christian Science Sunday School since she was about three years old. So she knew that God is Father-Mother Love, and that He creates only good for His children. She knew that anything which is not good is not real and comes from not seeing clearly enough the truth which we read in Genesis (1:31): "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good."

Whenever anything which was not "very good" came into her experience, Alice and her parents turned to the books which they knew bring healing, the Holy Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. There they learned more about God, and this taught them more about man, His image.

One night at bedtime something not "very good" came to Alice in the form of coughing. It pretended to be very real and to make Alice unhappy. So her mother sat down with the Bible and Science and Health, to help her see the unreality of error.
