Six hundred measures were introduced during the session of the legislature covered by this report— of which three required attention. Senate Bill 53, requiring a person practicing medicine or any of the healing arts to obtain a license authorizing him to conduct the type of practice in which he is engaged, passed with our amendment included, thus protecting the practice of Christian Science in the state of New Mexico.

House Bill 45, requiring applicants for marriage licenses to furnish certificates of health from a physician or surgeon and also providing for a serological blood test, passed the House but was killed in the Senate Committee.
