I welcome this opportunity to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science. It came to me in a time of great need, both physical and spiritual, and for many year it has been a source of comfort and healing. While quite young I became a member of an orthodox church, but as time went on I gradually drifted away and finally decided that I could no longer follow its teachings.

For some years I stayed away from all religious services, during which time my wife was becoming interested in Christian Science through a relative. Later we began to attend the services, and our three children began to attend the Sunday School. Our little son was very delicate and every winter suffered severely from a bronchial trouble with complications. Materia medica had failed to relieve him, and our small income was insufficient to meet doctors' bills and medicine. I became greatly discouraged. One can readily realize the joy that was ours when, through Science, our son was healed. I was healed of yearly attacks of quinsy sore throat; the tobacco habit vanished; and we began to realize the great blessing which Mary Baker Eddy through her consecrated life had brought to humanity.

Over a year ago, through the help of a devoted practitioner, I was healed of an internal soreness and pain that had caused much suffering. This condition was overcome in a few weeks' treatment.
