With gratitude to God I should...

With gratitude to God I should like to acknowledge my debt to Christian Science for the many healings I have received through its application. One stands out as the greatest, the overcoming of cancer, which manifested itself on my leg in a severe form. Despite great suffering, I never once feared or doubted God's healing power. That was four years ago. With the loving help of a practitioner, I got my healing. For the past year or two I have walked a great deal and have been on my feet constantly with no ill effects whatever. During the period when I was suffering, I visited a doctor on another person's account, and he noticed the bandages on my leg and asked to see the condition. Then he said he could do nothing for it, adding that it was only a matter of time when the leg would have to be amputated. This I would doubtless have had to agree to, had I not had Christian Science to turn to.

I was also healed of pneumonia. I became ill on a Friday night, and on Monday morning I was out on the veranda; through the help of a practitioner all signs of pneumonia had disappeared.

For all the blessings that have been brought into my life through Christian Science, I can never be grateful enough to God and also to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who gave us this wonderful truth.—(Mrs.) Annie Irvine, Auburn, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
