I did not come into Christian Science for any physical healing, but because it sounded logical to me. It was not long before I was tested and was faced with making a decision to depend on Science and give up all material remedies. I made the decision in favor of Science and was healed of a serious disease. For fifteen years I have not spent anything for medicine or doctors' bills of any kind. This is not to say that I have not had some severe testing times and at times doubted. I know now that by standing with God we are finally blessed with hope, joy, and triumph.

A few years ago I was told by an insurance doctor that I had high blood pressure. This created fear in my thought. Another student with whom I talked pointed out to me that it was an overanxious state of thought that created this false belief. Since then I have acquired more poise and a more comprehensive sense of Truth and have not been bothered by this difficulty. I have been healed of timidity in giving testimonies, and I have been blessed more than can be told by giving these experiences in order to help my fellow man.
