It is with deep gratitude that I give this testimony of the healing power of Christian Science.

This Science had been presented to me several times before I came to realize that it could give the help needed to overcome difficulties and discords disturbing our home. Finally I recognized the fact that my Christian Science friends lived in a state of peace and security unknown to me, and I found, after humbly inquiring the reason for this, that they had a complete reliance on God. They lovingly advised me to study the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. This I started to do, and I also put my children in the Sunday School. A verse in the Christian Science Hymnal reads (No. 247):

Ye shall not to your daily task
Without your God repair,
But on your work His blessing ask
And prove His glory there.
