I wish to express my gratitude for all the good that has come to me through Christian Science.

The first healing that I experienced, when I knew practically nothing about Science, was an instantaneous healing of a severe cold. I had heard a little about this truth through a co-worker who is a Christian Scientist. When the cold appeared one morning and I was unable to go to work, I made an appointment with a practitioner. She talked to me for a few moments, then said she would give me an absent treatment. About fifteen minutes after I had left the practitioner's home there was not a sign of the cold left. I had never experienced anything like it before, and I realized that this was the truth for which I had been looking.

I have had many other healings through Christian Science. One was of a goiter for which four doctors said I should have to undergo an operation. After I had studied and applied this Science the operation was not necessary. Other healings have been of grippe, headaches, sore throat, stomach disorders, pain, and a nervous breakdown. Fear of going more than a few miles from home, traveling on trains, riding on elevators, being in tall buildings and in crowds has been overcome.
