Words could never express my...
Words could never express my gratitude for Christian Science. For over thirty years it has met my every need when honestly and earnestly applied. The physical healings I have had have been many, including those of tonsillitis, effects of accidents, burns, infections, broken bones, gallstones, shingles, insomnia, and the need of wearing a truss.
One experience which has always been outstanding to me was the instantaneous healing of a form of neuralgia, which was very painful, and from which I had suffered over a period of years. One morning, when I faced a very busy day, one of these attacks occurred. I turned to God humbly, asking Him to guide me, and immediately there came these words from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 381): "Be no more willing to suffer the illusion that you are sick or that some disease is developing in the system, than you are to yield to a sinful temptation on the ground that sin has its necessities." I knew that sin is not necessary, and a clear realization came that sickness is not either, and I was instantly healed.
I am most grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church and for class instruction.—(Miss) Daisy L. Truax, Noonan, North Dakota.
