Because I am sincerely grateful...
Because I am sincerely grateful to God for the recent priceless privilege of class instruction, I can no longer withhold my testimony.
In 1926 my husband was healed through Christian Science of heart attacks after a dozen doctors had condemned him to death. This led me to begin the study of Science and to place our two children in the Sunday School. They each received a healing of functional disorders that very first Sunday.
This proved to us the truth of what Mrs. Eddy says in "Rudiment Divine Science" (p. 9): "The spiritual power of a scientific, right thought, without a direct effort, an audible or even a mental argument, has oftentimes healed inveterate diseases."
