It is with sincere gratitude for the many healings which I have experienced through the study of the Bible and of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy that I submit this testimony.

In Isaiah 11:4 we find the statement, "He shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth," and in Science and Health (p. 585), "To material sense, earth is matter." We also read in the first line of "the scientific statement of being" (ibid., p. 468), "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter." Through the clear realization of the truth of these statements I was instantaneously healed of a dislocated shoulder. The only aftereffect was a painless discoloration, which soon disappeared.
