In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures"...

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy we read (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need;" and in Proverbs (3:5, 6): "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." These two references have been most helpful to me in working out the problem of right placement.

Some time ago my husband and I moved to a distant city where the housing situation was acute, but we applied the truth of Christian Science and found a lovely apartment which met our needs exactly. Upon our return to our home city the same need had to be met again. Here also a lovely demonstration was made of God's care. We heard of an apartment from a completely unexpected source, and it proved to be the very thing we needed.

By holding to the truths found in Mrs. Eddy's writings, and with the loving help of a practitioner, my husband was led to his place in the business world, for which we are very grateful. For a while it seemed as if everything we attempted to do along this line failed, but we still knew that God loves His children and is always guiding them. As we look back now, we can clearly see in what an orderly and harmonious way things worked out for us.
