Courage

God give me courage to deny
the evidence of pain
and all the claims that mortal sense
would build and justify;

Courage to declare the fact,
as I am taught in Science,
that man is Spirit's likeness, and
his harmony intact;

Courage to maintain the fight
when the battle's long,
knowing with conviction calm
that only good is right.

When I have courage to declare
that error is unreal
the victory's won, and I have proof
that God has answered prayer.
