My gratitude for Christian Science...

My gratitude for Christian Science is increasing daily. May I here share with others one of many proofs I have had that, as Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

At the time of my graduation from preparatory school I had been a haphazard student of Christian Science for a little more than a year. But it already it had brought blessings into my life. I had been cured of a painful earache and had had a partial healing of false attraction. I had begun to recognize that the unhealthy glamour concomitant with the local theatrical activities which took up almost all the time I was not in school, could not produce any lasting happiness. This was an important revelation to me.

At commencement I was offered a scholarship at a large eastern university. Investigation disclosed, however, that no Christian Science church, society, college organization, or practitioner would be available to me if I should enroll there. It revealed, further, that the moral fiber of the university dramatic organization would be little different from that of the theater groups with which I had previously worked.
