THANK GOD—NOW
To give thanks today for yesterday's blessings is necessary and wise. But is there any better way to express gratitude to God than to acknowledge His allness now and the certainty of His blessing tomorrow and forever?
In this manner we do more than fulfill an earnest desire to show that we are thankful. This simple, firm, and fervent recognition of the perfection of God and His idea, man, this thanking God even before His blessings are visible to us, cannot help but bring goodness into our daily human experience in even greater abundance.
For as mankind becomes thus more nearly conscious of God as the Giver of all good, in that degree is supposititious human existence more harmonious; to that extent also have we traveled on in the journey from sense to Soul.
