Concerning Christian Science Wartime and Postwar Activities
[From a Christian Science Church in Britain]
How I wish you could all have been with us at—Church,
London, last night! We had had our business meeting, and then a radiant, grateful membership crossed the foyer into our Sunday School (where we have scaffolding erected for the repair of war damage) and received your precious and very welcome gifts, beautifully parceled. We were indeed a long queue, and we realized as we waited how much your loving thought was bringing us in metaphysical support and what your brotherhood stood for, and we were doubly grateful for your beneficent care. As we use your gifts we shall say at each meal, "Thank You, Father, for Your love reflected by our fellow students of Christian Science everywhere."
