"I WILL WALK WITHIN MY HOUSE WITH A PERFECT HEART"

My house is built on Principle.
Its walls are strong and will withstand
The quakes of fear and storms of doubt.
Above its roof Love's wings bend low,
And from the windows I can see
God's perfect world.
Because His angels stand on guard
Beside the door
No fear can enter ... no idler come
To hinder or to scoff.
I know the joy of work well done;
I know no poverty, for Love supplies my need.
And not my need alone,
But from an overflowing store
I have enough to share with every guest!
Yet if no guest should come
I feel no loneliness, for Love is here.
Its lamp illumines every room
And shines beyond the window sill
To cheer the passer-by.
Since this is one of many mansions,
I need never fear eviction.
But shall dwell in perfect peace
With God eternally.
