WHEN WE PRAY

Thank You, God, for the gift of prayer
To meet each daily task.
To live and work inspired by
Your love is all I ask;
For by Your law are thoughts and deeds
Made perfect when, each day,
We enter first the inner room
And close the door, and pray.
