"THE RANGE OF ALL-INCLUSIVE INFINITY"

Today, when the news tells us of clashing opinions, differing wills, and discordant conferences, Christian Science presents one eternal, unchallengeable basis upon which to build an enduring peace. This basis is the fact that God is the only Mind governing the universe and the man of His creating. This divine Mind is all-seeing, all-knowing, unerring, supreme, infinite. Logically, then, all that actually exists and operates is included in this one Mind and its infinite range of good.

On pages 513 and 514 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy writes: "God creates all forms of reality. His thoughts are spiritual realities. So-called mortal mind— being non-existent and consequently not within the range of immortal existence—could not by simulating deific power invert the divine creation, and afterwards recreate persons or things upon its own plane, since nothing exists beyond the range of all-inclusive infinity, in which and of which God is the sole creator."

The first argument that challenges the truth that there is one all-inclusive and complete Mind is the age-old belief that men have minds of their own, independent of the Mind which is God, and that these minds are both good and evil; that men can say, do, and think whatever these so-called erring and limited minds direct. This belief is the troublemaker of mankind. Obviously, if there really were as many minds, viewpoints, motives, as many combinations of mortal characteristics as there seem to be mortal personalities in the world, it would be hard to find the solution to the world's difficulties, divisions, and contentions.
