It is with heartfelt gratitude that...
It is with heartfelt gratitude that I wish to express thanks for Christian Science, which was brought to my notice a number of years ago by a friend. Prior to this, for nearly two years I had been suffering from a bad knee, a condition diagnosed as tuberculosis. Although the doctors had tried many things, the knee was no better, and I was waiting to go through an operation. This operation was never carried out because through the help of a Christian Science practitioner the healing took place.
For the privilege I had of attending Sunday School for a few years at the beginning of my study and for the clear explanations given me by the friend who introduced me to this Science I shall always be most grateful. Since then I have had much help, and although the way has not always been easy, joy and happiness have come to me through the spiritual understanding I have gained.
