Brown, has written attractive solo settings for the seven poems by the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, which are also dearly loved as hymns: "Christ My Refuge" (O'er Waiting Harpstrings); "Christmas Morn" (Blest Christmas Morn); "Communion Hymn" (Saw Ye My Saviour?); "Feed My Sheep" (Shepherd, Show Me How to Go); "Love;" "Mothers Evening Prayer" (O Gentle Presence); "Satisfied" These new settings, although they are of much interest musically, are graded "simple to medium."
