Letters to the Press from Christian Science Committees on Publication

Frederick W. Boorer, Committee on Publication for Ontario, Canada Chronicle, Durham

In a letter addressed to the Editor under the caption "Rosy Rambles Round" the name of the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Mary Baker Eddy, is included in the reference to the teachings of Buddha. Confucius, Mahomet, Gandhi, and other.

While I appreciate the fact that it was not the author's intention to cast any reflection on the teachings of any of the individuals mentioned nevertheless there is a danger that your readers might conclude that the religion of Christian Science, discovered and founded by Mrs. Eddy, either agrees with or is similar to these other varying philosophies.
