It is with a heart filled with...
It is with a heart filled with gratitude for Christian Science that I send this testimony.
It was while I was in boarding school that Christian Science was introduced to me by a school friend. The doctors had declared that I had heart trouble and that it might hold me in bondage for the rest of my life. After talking with my school friend about Christian Science I said to her. "Then it is not God's will that I should suffer from heart trouble all my life?" Her reply was convincing.
It was some time later, as I was pondering the truths I was learning, that I saw quite clearly that God is Life, therefore my life did not depend on a heart or any material organism, but on God alone. The healing of that condition was instantaneous.
